Epic Ride Weather Featured in Life in the Peloton’s Holy Week
Life in the Peloton has just released Holy Week, a new documentary from Mitch Docker and the Life in the Peloton crew.
Epic Ride Weather was proud to support the film, and there’s a short segment in there about the app.
The film follows Mitch through Belgium and northern France during one of the best weeks of the cycling year: the days between the Tour of Flanders and Paris-Roubaix.
You can watch the full film below. The Epic Ride Weather segment starts around 15 minutes in, but the whole film is well worth watching.
I’m really proud of this one.
It’s cobbles, narrow roads, Flemish climbs, roadside bars, Belgian beer, old teammates, fan clubs, and the kind of cycling culture that makes this part of the season feel so special.
In the film, Mitch is getting ready to ride to the Roubaix velodrome. Before heading out, he checks Epic Ride Weather to see what the day is going to look like along the route. The forecast shows 7°C at the start, warming up to 22°C by the end, with a tailwind for the ride. His conclusion: long sleeves to start.
That’s exactly the kind of decision Epic Ride Weather is built for.
A normal weather forecast can tell you what the weather is doing in one place. But on a ride, especially a long one, what matters is where you’ll be, when you’ll get there, and how the conditions change along the way.
That’s why Holy Week felt like such a good fit for Epic Ride Weather.
Life in the Peloton tells those stories with humour, warmth, and a real love for the sport. As a small independent cycling app, it means a lot to be able to support work like this.
Congratulations to Mitch and the Life in the Peloton team on a fantastic film.
