Giveaway Overview
The Ride Smarter Giveaway is sponsored by Epic Ride Weather.
The Giveaway begins on May 18, 2026 at 00:00:00 UTC and ends on June 8, 2026 at 23:59:59 UTC.
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Australia, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Canada excluding Quebec, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, the United Kingdom, and the United States of America who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry.
No purchase, payment, subscription, app download, renewal, or consent to receive marketing emails is required to enter or win. A purchase will not increase your chances of winning.
Three prizes are available. Each prize consists of one Hammerhead Karoo cycling computer and one year of Epic Ride Weather subscription access.
Eligibility
The Giveaway is open only to individuals who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry and who are legal residents of, and have a valid physical mailing address in, one of the following eligible countries:

Employees, officers, directors, contractors, representatives, and agents of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter.
The Giveaway is void where prohibited or restricted by law.
Before being confirmed as a winner, a selected entrant must correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question and otherwise comply with these Official Rules.
How to Enter
During the Giveaway Period, eligible entrants may enter by completing and submitting the official entry form on the Ride Smarter Giveaway landing page at epicrideweather.com/giveaway/ride-smarter-2026/.
To submit a standard entry, entrants must provide the required entry information, including:
- email address;
- country of residence; and
- agreement to the Official Rules and applicable privacy terms.
Entrants may also provide optional information, including:
- weather factor preference; and
- social media handle for bonus entry verification.
Entries must be received between May 18, 2026 at 00:00:00 UTC and June 8, 2026 at 23:59:59 UTC.
Each person may submit one standard entry using one email address. Plus-addressed email addresses containing “+” are not permitted. Disposable or temporary email addresses are not permitted.
Automated, scripted, bulk, fraudulent, abusive, incomplete, inaccurate, or otherwise non-compliant entries are prohibited and may be disqualified at the Sponsor’s discretion.
Entries submitted using multiple email addresses, identities, accounts, devices, automated systems, or other methods to exceed the permitted number of entries may be disqualified.
Entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned.
Entry in the Giveaway does not require consent to receive marketing emails.
Bonus Entries
Bonus entries are optional and are not required to enter or win.
Eligible entrants may receive up to three bonus entries during the Giveaway Period by sharing product-relevant content on Instagram or X and tagging @epicrideweather.
Qualifying content may include, for example:
- an Epic Ride Weather forecast screenshot;
- a ride-planning screenshot;
- a story about how weather affects the entrant’s ride;
- a post about why the entrant uses or is interested in Epic Ride Weather; or
- a simple share of the Giveaway.
To help the Sponsor verify bonus entries, entrants may provide their social media handle on the entry form. The social media handle is used to match public posts to entries. No post URL submission is required.
Posts must be public and must be published during the Giveaway Period to be eligible for bonus entry credit.
Each qualifying bonus entry counts as one additional entry in the random draw, up to a maximum of three bonus entries per eligible entrant. Bonus entries may increase an entrant’s chances of winning relative to the total number of eligible entries received.
The Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, whether a post qualifies for bonus entry credit.
The Sponsor is not responsible for privacy settings, account restrictions, deleted posts, expired stories, platform outages, username changes, missing tags, unavailable posts, or other circumstances that prevent verification of a bonus entry.
No purchase, payment, subscription, app download, renewal, or marketing email consent is required to receive a bonus entry.
Prizes
There are three prizes available to be won.
Each prize consists of:
- one Hammerhead Karoo cycling computer, with an approximate retail value of USD $550; and
- one year of Epic Ride Weather subscription access, with an approximate retail value of USD $19.99.
Approximate retail value of each prize: USD $569.99.
Total approximate retail value of all prizes: USD $1,709.97.
Prizes are awarded as-is and must be accepted as awarded. Prizes may not be transferred, assigned, exchanged, or redeemed for cash, except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor.
The Sponsor may substitute a prize, or any prize component, with another prize or prize component of comparable value if the advertised prize is unavailable, cannot reasonably be shipped, or cannot legally or practically be delivered to the winner’s location.
Prizes will be shipped to confirmed winners at no cost to the winner.
Winners are responsible for any taxes, duties, import fees, brokerage fees, customs charges, or other costs associated with accepting, receiving, or using a prize, unless the Sponsor states otherwise.
The Sponsor is not responsible for any costs not expressly included in the prize description.
Winner Selection
Three winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible entries received during the Giveaway Period, including eligible bonus entries.
The random draw will take place after the Giveaway closes on June 8, 2026 and will be conducted by the Sponsor or its designee.
Three alternate winners will also be selected in case one or more selected entrants are ineligible, unresponsive, decline a prize, fail to correctly answer the skill-testing question, or otherwise fail to comply with these Official Rules.
The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received, including eligible bonus entries.
Selected entrants will be notified using the email address provided in their entry.
The decisions of the Sponsor are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway.
A selected entrant is not a winner unless and until the Sponsor has confirmed their eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules.
Winner Notification
Selected entrants will be contacted by email within 7 days after the draw date.
A selected entrant must reply to the notification email within 14 calendar days after the notification email is sent in order to claim the prize.
Before being confirmed as a winner, a selected entrant must:
- respond within the stated deadline;
- correctly answer, unaided, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question;
- confirm they meet the eligibility requirements;
- provide a valid physical mailing address in an eligible country; and
- provide any other information reasonably required to confirm eligibility and deliver the prize.
If a selected entrant does not respond within the stated deadline, does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, cannot be contacted, is found to be ineligible, declines the prize, provides invalid or incomplete delivery information, or otherwise does not comply with these Official Rules, the selected entrant will be disqualified and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner.
The Sponsor is not responsible for failed email delivery, spam filtering, incorrect email addresses, invalid email addresses, full inboxes, privacy settings, platform issues, or any other circumstance that prevents or delays delivery or receipt of a winner notification.
General Conditions
By entering the Giveaway, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the Giveaway.
The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, modify, or terminate the Giveaway, or any part of it, if fraud, technical failures, platform issues, human error, legal restrictions, shipping restrictions, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity, security, fairness, or proper operation of the Giveaway, as determined by the Sponsor in its sole discretion.
The Sponsor is not responsible for technical malfunctions, lost, late, incomplete, inaccurate, misdirected, delayed, undelivered, corrupted, or failed entries, communications, or winner notifications, or for failures of electronic equipment, websites, platforms, networks, email systems, or internet service providers. Such issues do not create any obligation for the Sponsor to accept affected entries.
The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who tampers with the entry process, attempts to enter using multiple identities or automated methods, operates multiple accounts to gain additional entries, violates these Official Rules, or acts in an abusive, disruptive, fraudulent, or unfair manner.
By entering, entrants release the Sponsor and its officers, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, and agents from any liability, loss, damage, claim, or expense arising from participation in the Giveaway or acceptance, receipt, use, or misuse of a prize, except where prohibited by law.
This Giveaway and these Official Rules are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Subject to applicable law, any dispute relating to the Giveaway or these Official Rules will be resolved in the courts of British Columbia, Canada.
Privacy
Personal information collected through the entry form will be used to administer the Giveaway, process entries, verify eligibility, contact selected entrants, administer the skill-testing question, deliver prizes, prevent fraud, and otherwise operate the Giveaway in accordance with these Official Rules.
Email addresses are used for Giveaway administration and winner notification. Country of residence is used to confirm eligibility. Weather factor preference is used for campaign analysis and may be used to understand entrant interests. Social media handles, when provided, are used for bonus entry verification.
IP addresses may be stored with entries for fraud prevention, abuse prevention, and Giveaway administration purposes.
Personal information will not be sold to third parties.
Entrant information may be shared with service providers or prize fulfillment partners solely as reasonably necessary to administer the Giveaway, verify entries, contact selected entrants, or deliver prizes to winners.
By entering the Giveaway, entrants consent to the collection, use, storage, and disclosure of their personal information as described in these Official Rules and in the Sponsor’s privacy policy.

Entrant data will be retained for no longer than 90 days after the Giveaway concludes, except where a longer retention period is reasonably required for prize fulfillment, fraud prevention, legal compliance, dispute resolution, or recordkeeping obligations.
Entry in the Giveaway does not require consent to receive marketing emails.
Entrants may separately choose to receive emails from Epic Ride Weather. Any marketing email signup is optional and separate from Giveaway entry.
Entrants who choose to receive marketing emails may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link included in those emails or by following any other unsubscribe instructions provided by the Sponsor.
The Sponsor may still contact entrants as necessary to administer the Giveaway, including to confirm entries, notify selected entrants, verify eligibility, administer the skill-testing question, and arrange prize delivery.
Platform Disclaimer
This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram or X.
By participating, entrants release Instagram and X from any claims arising from participation in the Giveaway, except where prohibited by law.
Any questions, comments, or complaints about the Giveaway must be directed to Epic Ride Weather, not to Instagram or X.
Entrants understand that they are providing their information to the Sponsor and not to Instagram or X.
