I thought it might help to provide a little insight into where your money goes when you pay for Epic Ride Weather.
Based on the USD 8.99 subscription price, here’s the breakdown:
As you can see, the lions share (80%) goes to the government and the AppStore (either Apple or Google). After marketing costs, forecast data and servers in the cloud, 4% is left to cover my time and energy.
It’s gratifying to be part of the cycling community, to connect with fabulous people, and further my goal to improve the cycling experience for everyone. That is my motivation.
