Epic Ride Weather was created by David Green as a way to be more prepared when going out for a ride. Riding is a unique sport in that cyclists are exposed to the weather for hours at a time over long distances. Being prepared can make a big difference when it comes to enjoying a ride.
Rainbows, no rain: A snapshot from a local road ride
David’s riding ranges from road riding to mountain biking in the Pacific North West, in British Columbia Canada and Washington State USA. This part of the world has a moderate oceanic climate that has a rainy fall, winter and spring, and summers with moderate drought conditions. With the areas’s ocean and mountain influences, there are many micro-climates and regional differences in the weather.
